Q.1   Can I use this on a Smartphone App ?
Yes, you can. Download the FREE "SKYTEL DIALLER" app for Android or iPhone/iPad. The rates are alot lower than using access numbers , and it's much simpler to use. You will need a WiFi connection or you can use your mobile data (please check with your provider for charges they may levy). You will need a Serial Number to use the app. To get your Serial number - login with your 10 digit PIN and the serial number will be displayed.
Q.1a   Is there a facility to top up my card ?
Yes, you can re-charge your PIN/card using your credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal).  Just enter your PIN in the Top Up Section on the home page of this website.  All recharges are checked to validate the cardholder's details and eliminate fraudulent activity.  All PIN recharges are completed within 30 minutes.
Q.2   Are there any bonus amounts for buying in bulk  ?
Yes order Eur 50 and get 10% Extra Free , or order Eur 100 or more and get 20% Extra Free.
Q.3 How can I get lower rates from my home phone in my home country ?
Yes, to get the very best international rates from your home phone, please use one of our local access numbers.  This local access number is normally free to call from your home landline phone. Also your mobile phone provider may also give you an allowance of minutes to call local numbers. You simply dial your local access number, enter your PIN, and make your international call as normal.
Q.4   There is no Freephone Number listed for the country that I am in, what can I do ?
There are Freephone Access Numbers for 65 countries.  If you are in a country that we don't have an Access Number for, then you can use the Worldwide Landline Access Number.  This is an automated call-back service, dial +35316861120 and you will be called back with a few seconds and asked to enter your pin number and make a call as normal.

Q.5  What if I want to make a follow-on call ?
To make a follow-on call when you have completed your first call you do not need to hang up.  On completion of the first call you simply press ## to make another call.
Q.6  Can I use your PIN save feature?
Yes. Dial your access number, enter your PIN, and when you are told your credit, press *1. The next time you dial your access number you will be told your balance without having to enter your PIN. To remove the PIN that is saved against your phone number, press *2.

Q.7  How long do I have to use the credit on my card/PIN ?
Your pin number is valid for 180 days from first use.
Q.8  Can I use the Skyteltravel Card to call a mobile phone number ?
Yes a user can dial any legitimate national or international mobile (or fixed line) number, however please note that calls to mobile phones will be charged at a higher rate than calls to land line numbers in the same country. In addition calls made to mobiles which are answered by voice mail are deemed to have been connected and will be charged for at the appropriate mobile rate for that network.

Q.9  Can I make calls from my mobile phone using the Skytel Travel Card ?
Yes you can, however we don’t recommend it as the savings are considerably less than from a payphone or landline. Your mobile provider may charge you international roaming charges even when dialling a Free-phone access number or local access number from your mobile phone.
Q.10  Do I pay more from payphone or mobile ?
Yes, there is a regulated payphone access levy from payphone and may be a mobile access levy from mobile. Generally, it is cheaper to make a call from a payphone rather than a mobile.
Q.11  Can I use the Skytel Travel Card from a friend’s phone without incurring cost to them ?
From a landline, yes, Dial the Freephone access number indicated on the back of the card and your friend will not be charged for the call you make.

Q.12   What happens if I lose or damage my card ?
Skytel Travel Card accepts no liability for lost, stolen or damaged Skytel Travel Cards.
